AUSBUY is keen to spread the word about our concern that we support Australian ownership across Australia, so we invite valued Friends of AUSBUY and concerned Australians of all ages to sign up for Facebook.

We have set up a Group for AUSBUY on Facebook called AUSBUY Ownership. This is a social networking site where you can share your ideas about how we can support Australian owned companies and to share opinions with Australians about the need for jobs and profits to stay here and decisions to be made here.

We encourage anyone interested to join this group.

To do this you will need to have an existing account, or need to create a Facebook account.

Easy steps to set up the account: (there is no charge)

1. Log on to www.facebook.com
2. Enter your personal details in to the Sign Up section - name, email address, password, gender and birthday. Click on Sign Up.
3. In Security Check enter both words, separated by a space, shown in the text box below. Click on Sign Up.
4. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address. Log in to your email and click on the confirmation link to complete your sign up.
5. Once your sign up is complete, go back to Facebook.
6. You can skip the next three steps - inviting your friends, joining a network etc. - as these can be done later.
7. Do a search for AUSBUY by going to the top right hand corner at Search and type in AUSBUY.
8. The Group will appear.
9.  Click on Join Group.
10. In the pop-up box, click on Join.

When you have joined:

Once you have joined the AUSBUY Group you can also invite your friends to join.

1. By clicking on the Share button from the group page you can then send a message to your chosen friends or post a comment to your profile inviting them to join.
2. By clicking on Invite People to Join from the group page you can join people from your contact list or address book. We suggest you make a Word document, with commas separating each email address, and paste it into the box. This will allow you to invite people who are not currently on Facebook.

To share your views:

1. In the top right hand corner in the Search  box type AUSBUY.
2. AUSBUY Ownership will appear underneath. Click on this.
3. Scroll down to The Wall.
4. Type your comments in the box labelled Write Something.
5. Confirm your comments by typing the code shown in the text box below your message.
